As most of you probably know by now, this year produced record snowfalls all over the northern United States and Canada. So when the snow melts, there is a LOT of water which has to drain off since the ground is already saturated. Now this might not seem like a big deal, but when the ground is so soft you sink an inch when you step on it, there's a little problem!! Maybe not to you or me, but what about all those farmers that work the land, and provide us with the tasty treats we enjoy so much?? It's kind of hard to work the land when it's a virtual swamp!! Not to mention, every time we start to dry out a little, we get more rain!! Now, I'm all for a little rain to help Mary Quite Contrary's garden grow, but I think we get the picture!!
1 1/2 oz 151-proof rum
3/4 oz melon liqueur
4 oz orange juice
Now I don't claim to be an expert on the subject, but from what I hear (I know a few farmer types) they're already about 2 weeks behind, and it doesn't look like they will be able to do much plowing till we get some nicer weather. But, as always, we at iBoozer think we have a solution!! If everyone grabbed their hair dryers and a couple friends and went to visit one of their rural neighbors, I'm sure with a few hundred thousand watts of hair-drying, frizz-defusing power, we could have those fields dry in no time (this is not recommended for California residents, they can't handle that kind of wattage!!) {NOTE from the California editor: 7th largest economy in the WORLD and really dumb government officials don't mix... but the lights haven't gone out on me yet.} You may think I'm nuts, and you may be right, but I think it's worth a shot. In the meantime, we'll have to hope for a splash of sunshine.
3 oz pineapple juice
3 oz orange juice
1 oz sour mix
1/2 oz grenadine
2 oz lemon-lime soda
We've been busy this last week, we've added over 100 new drinks, many of them shooters!! These tasty treats are the perfect way to start a night of fun and frolic on spring break!!
Cheers,
iBoozer
