Talk about a quinky dink. Just as I finished last weeks DotW, I was praising the weather and welcoming spring for those who missed it, and sent it off to my editor it began to snow. Lightly at first and slowly getting heavy as the night went on. Come morning we had a good couple inches of the white stuff, I wasn't sure if I should cheer, or cry. I have to wonder if Mother Nature is playing games with me. It seems every time I break out my blender and tanning lotion she feels the need to remind me to keep the hot coco nearby.
1 oz green crème de menthe
1 oz white crème de cacao
5 oz hot chocolate
1 oz cream
No sooner was the driveway shoveled and the sidewalks cleared, then I could hear a faint snickering in the distance. You guessed it, Mother Nature was toying with me again. The sun came out, the temperature was starting to rise and by mid afternoon most of the snow had melted. So I'm putting Mother Nature on notice. From now on, I'm running around in flip-flops and packing my winter clothes up for another year. Mother Nature do you worse, cause I'll be relaxing on the deck this weekend wearing shorts, and sipping Strawberry Daiquiris.
2 oz rum
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1 oz lime juice or the juice of 1/2 lime
1 tsp fine sugar
1/2 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
As always, we are adding to the site. This week we added a selection of Jell-O shooters, stop by and give some of the wiggle treats a try, but watch out there things pack a punch!!
