What will you do to make this year even more special then last? Why not take a walk on the wild side and try something a little different, a little non-traditional? We have a few simple ideas that will you inject some life into your holiday turkey.
14 oz chicken broth (canned will do)
3 fluid oz garlic oil (or 1 1/2oz pureed garlic)
1 tbsp. salt
4 tbsp. Louisiana hot sauce
1 tsp. cayenne
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
For more information on this Cajun kicker, see our Nov. 2000 Monthly Newsletter. I'm sure it'll really spice up your Turkey-Day. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! Following your down-south trend, why not theme your Thanksgiving beverages as well? There are so many interesting and refreshing ingredients to use, such as the Georgia peach!
1 1/2 oz bourbon
1/2 oz grenadine
2 oz orange juice
2 oz sour mix
1 oz peach schnapps
What could be more reminiscent of the old south then bourbon and peaches. Yummy!! But let's not leave out those who prefer their refreshments without the alcohol.
8 oz peach nectar
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/2 whole sliced peach
3 oz ripe raspberries
